Romance necklace

Ho comprato un filo di queste pietre - intendo quella del pendente - all'Hobby Show un paio di settimane fa ma ho dimenticato di chiedere cosa fosse. Se qualcuno la riconosce mi dia qualche suggerimento. Ha un color melenzana fantastico e poi quelle striature la rendono molto particolare e ho pensato che l'ideale fosse abbianarla all'oro e il fiocchettino di velluto, anch'esso color melanzana, rende tutto l'insieme molto romantico.

I bought a strand of these stones - I mean the one of the pendant - at Hobby Show a couple of weeks ago but I forgot to ask what they were. If anyone recognizes it give me some hints. It has a fantastic eggplant color and those striations make it very special and I thought that the ideal was to mix it with gold and the velvet bow, same eggplant color, makes the whole combination very romantic.

Ispirata da tutti questi bijoux che si vedono in giro fatti con le catene, ho realizzato questi orecchini aggiungendo un tocco di luce con dei cristalli bicono che hanno dei bagliori rosa-gialli fluorescenti che purtroppo nella foto non si vedono.

Inspired by al these jewels that you see around made with chains, I realized these earrings adding a touch of light with crystal bicones that have a pink-yellow fluorescent glow that unfortunately has not come out in the photo.

Dark Princess

Un po' romantica, un po' dark, un po' metallara! La vedo così questa collana. Ovviamente l'idea dal quale è nata era diversa, ma poi si è evoluta così, non so se è bella ma a me piace!

A little bit romantic, a bit dark, a bit heavy metal! This is the way I see this necklace. As usual the start idea was different but at the end it has evolved this way, I do not know if it is nice but I like it.

Una spilla e quattro orecchini * A brooch and four earrings

Eccomi ritornata al mio blog con qualche piccola creazione più che altro nata dalla richiesta di realizzare qualcosa di più semplice e di conseguenza più economico rispetto al solito. Ho scelto allora di fare questa spilla, dal momento che da tempo avevo acquistato questi spilloni che attendevano dentro alle mie scatole per una stagione più propizia. Questa non mi soddisfa pienamente ma l'ho provata sul reverse di una giacca e su un cappotto devo dire che fa la sua bella figura.

Gli orecchini non sono tra le creature da me preferite, e questi modelli soprattutto sono un genere che non amo troppo (forse non dovrei dirlo!), comunque sia ho voluto realizzarli per soddisfare le richieste di alcune clienti.

Credo che noi tutte creatrici di bigiotteria (per hobby) creiamo sopratutto per nostro piacere, ma nello stesso tempo troviamo anche soddisfazione nel vedere che le persone siano disposte e pagare per indossare le nostre creaturine. Capita a volte però che il prezzo sia un ostacolo alla vendita. Come vi comportate voi in questi casi? Siete disposte a rinunciare a fare qualcosa che vi piace di più pur di incontrare il gusto e il portafoglio del pubblico o preferite rinunciare ad una vendita pur di realizzare solo quello che piace anche a voi?

Here I am back to my blog with some small creations born from the request to make something simpler and therefore cheaper than usual. So I chose to do this pin, since they were waiting in my bead box for a more propitious season. Even if this first does not satisfy me at all, I tried it on the reverse of a jacket and a coat I have to say it looks nice.

The earrings are not among my favorite creatures, and these models are primarily a kind that I do not like too much (maybe I should not say that!), anyway I wanted to make them to meet the demands of some customers.

I think that all creators of jewelry (for a hobby) create especially for their pleasure, but at the same time they also find satisfaction in seeing that people are willing to wear and pay for their little creatures. There are times, however, that price is an obstacle to the sale. What do you do you in these cases? Are you willing to give up doing something that you like best just to meet the taste and the wallet of the public or you give up a sale but prefer to realize just what appeals to you?

Ecco una nuova collana finalmente! Sono ancora in fase di ripresa dalle vacanze di agosto e non riesco ancora a bilanciare tutti gli impegni, le idee sono tante ma il tempo non abbastanza!

E' stato difficile fotografare questa collana le perline miyuki che ho utlizzato per il medaglione centrale sono molto cangianti (Delica DB1010) e solo guardando le foto ho scoperto che oltre al verde e all'oro-bronzo contengono anche molti bagliori viola, il potere della luce! Finally a new necklace! I am still trying to balance all my commitments after august vacation, many ideas on my mind but not enough time!

I had a hard time to take pictures of this necklace because the miyuki seed beads I have used are so iridescent (Delica DB1010) and only after I have seen the photos I discovered that beside gold-bronze and green the have also a purple glare in them, power of light!
